It started with a photo expedition with National Geographic. I thought I knew my camera well until I realized that I wasn’t capturing images the way I saw them. Turns out, I had an eye for composition but I had a dilemma. I didn’t know how to capture the light or the sharpness or the colors in a way that showed the real beauty of a scene, or the feeling of a moment.

My solution was Rocky Mountain School of Photography (RMSP). Now I have a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of my camera from ISO, aperture and shutter speed, to mastering white balance, spot monitoring and using the histogram. Even how to program my camera’s soft buttons, learning flash and sound and motion triggers. Best of all, how to customize my camera to suit my needs.
